Terms of Use
These terms describe practical rules for using WordMarker. App Store subscriptions are governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.
Apple Standard EULA
Unless a custom agreement is provided in App Store Connect, WordMarker uses Apple’s Standard EULA for App Store apps and subscriptions. Read it at Apple Standard EULA.
Using WordMarker
You are responsible for your recordings, markers, and transcripts, including whether you have permission to record audio in your location and situation. WordMarker is provided for note-taking and review; it is not intended for emergency use or as a guaranteed archival system.
Online transcription
Online transcription requires a signed-in account, available transcription time, network access, and successful processing by the backend and transcription provider. Processing can fail because of network issues, unsupported audio, service limits, or provider errors. When supported by the backend, failed jobs release reserved time according to the service’s credit logic.
Subscriptions
WordMarker subscriptions provide a monthly allowance of online transcription time. Subscription allowances reset each billing period, and unused subscription minutes do not roll over. Cancel, manage, request refunds for, or review billing for App Store purchases through Apple.
Local data
Recordings and local transcripts are stored on your device. Signing out, cancellation, or subscription expiration does not remove local recordings or transcripts. Deleting the app or device data may remove local content.
